Yoga Asanas in Standing Position There are many asans done in the standing position and prominently among them few asans as noted below are commonly practised by the persons according to their age, health and body power. Surya Namaskar, Tadasan, Garudasan, Ardhchandrasan, Ashwathasan, Dhruwasan, Vrikshasan, Padhastasan. Yoga Asans in Sitting Position There are so many asanas practised in the sitting posture. What is C-Section? A c-section or cesarean section is the delivery of the baby using surgery. A C-section is recommended if a vaginal birth is not possible or if it is not safe. What are the Causes of C-Section? A C-Section is usually done when: There is any complication in delivery. If you have any problem with placenta. If the mom’s health condition is very bad. If the mom had a previous cesarean. If you have infections in the birth canal. If it is a premature birth. If there is multiple pregnancy. If there is excessive vaginal bleeding. If there is any complication in the size or position of the baby. If the labor is not progressing. Is C-Section safe? In usual cases C-section is safe for both mom and baby. If there is any problem, C-section can be complicated. Some of the risks of c-section include: Excessive Bleeding Infection – There is chance of getting infection on wounds or womb in c-section. Returning to normal or regular weight post pregnancy is a challenging task for moms. You need not start to lose weight immediately after delivery or baby birth. Take advice from the doctor or your midwife before starting a regular exercise routine. Your exercising schedule will also depend upon the kind of delivery you underwent. If you had a normal delivery, you might start exercising early, however, if you had a C-section, you need to wait till the time your stitches are fine and you get a green signal from your doctor. Some methods to lose your weight are: Have a healthy diet Eat fiber rich food such as oats, grain etc. Drink plenty of water Include starch, vegetables and pulses such as beans in your diet. If you are breastfeeding your baby, this will help you reduce weight quickly. Before doing exercises consult with your doctor and take advice. If you are ready to start exercises, start with simple exercises such as: Walking Gentle stretching exercises Pelvic Floor exercises Cycling Swimming Moderate stomach exercises Return to your day to day activities such as cooking after two or three weeks or as recommended by the doctor.
